Overview

As Associate Category Manager for the Women’s & Kids Collection, you will support execution of the global line plan to meet the strategic goals and long-term vision of the HEYDUDE brand. This role is highly collaborative and coordinates across multiple functions. You will apply effective communication & organizational skills to support the product creation process from end-to-end.

What You’ll Do
  • Passion & understanding of the footwear industry.
  • Support execution of seasonal brand & category objectives; assistance in line planning & briefing, special or off-timeline project management, system management, timeline management, presentation support, and cross-functional communication.
  • Head up the Centric PLM system for categories throughout the product creation process with assistance from a cross-functional team. Estimated to account for 25% of the workload.
  • Own sample tracking & management within the corporate office. Responsible for product room organization and frequent change of season showcasing. Estimated to account for 25% of workload.
  • Coordination of meeting setup with cross-functional partners. Inclusive of planning, organization, and room/sample setup.
  • Learn triad best practices & product creation lifecycle, ensuring product intent, costing targets & timelines are being met.
  • Baseline knowledge in consumer, competitor, and marketplace; build overviews to maintain a strong pulse to help identify new category opportunities & leverage takeaways during key breakthroughs.
  • Build analytical skills with historical & real-time performance data using an insight-to-action approach to support decision-making.
  • Support go-to-market with product naming, product copy briefing & editing, and cross-functional communication on changes to product or timing.

  • 1-3 years product line management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and works collaboratively.
  • Willingness to go-with-the-flow in a start-up culture.
  • A passion for understanding consumer, culture, market & trends with a distinguished taste-level and eye for commerciality.
  • Seeks to understand multiple points of view, maintain a learning mentality, and expresses viewpoints with confidence.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; specifically, within PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Desire to learn & hone analytical skills and an actioned-oriented approach to data.
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinking to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to travel. Estimated 5-10%.
