Pricesmart Full-Time Remote Work From Home

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Responsible for negotiating and carrying out local purchases of a country, in order to ensure an excellent variety, quality of products, to the lower prices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage negotiations and purchases of products with the Regional Buyer, the appropriate categorization of products, sales terms, discounts, freight refund policy, inventories, gross margin, sales price, etc., according to pricing strategies.
Innovate the Marketing of new items to maintain competitiveness in the market and promote member satisfaction programs.
Work with the Regional Office to review the appropriate category of each item for each department in each Club and ensure that local purchasing staff is aligned with that plan.
Responsible for achieving global sales, increasing gross margin in dollars, % gross margin and ensuring that local product “item” inventories are in accordance with the budget and in the days required.
