Overview:
The Production Assistants will encompass both independent management of projects as well as assisting on larger projects with a wider team, and working into a senior producer. The is split over the team based both in Birmingham and London. 50% of the will be assisting on the work that is print related, incorporating AI and the various opportunities that are around this.
This will involve a combination of stills, digital, and above the line work. It will require basic knowledge of photography and film production and the process around setting up productions, final post production and delivery processes. Managing deadlines and deliverables is a key part of the .
Good organisational skills, an ability to co-ordinate the various parties involved and follow a workstream are essential.
Keeping track of budgets and managing a finance process also plays a big part.

Tasks will include:
Organising meetings and post production sessions
Creating digital libraries for colour and materials
Aiding and assisting in the loading and cataloguing of drives / rushes
Setting up creative briefings for retouching
Assisting in the setting up of both live action and still shoots
Person Specification
Skills/Experience:
Good organisational skills, an ability to co-ordinate the various parties involved and follow a workstream are essential.
Production experience within an agency setting is essential.
Keeping track of budgets and managing a finance process also plays a big part.
Strong IT skills and a knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point) essential. Microsoft Project would be an advantage . There are other office tools that are used (bespoke to JLR and Accenture) but these can be learnt within day to day operations.
The candidate should have an interest in the industry and the new creative tools that are on the horizon (AI / Unreal Engine) and keep an eye on competitor’s work.
They should be confident to work independently on productions, but not to the exclusion of involving the team or asking for advice and opinions of the wider team.
